Ready for your child to WRITE?
I know it feels like school just got out (and it did)! But, it's already time to start thinking about the school year. Target has moved on from summer and on to school supplies! I always look for these Primary K-2 Writing Journals. They are perfect for little ones who are working on drawing pictures to match their story. Since they can usually only write one to three letters to match the word they are thinking of, the picture is really important for them to be able to retell their story. I always emphasize labeling their pictures. This helps them remember what they want to say on the lines below. I bought mine on Amazon, but I saw them at Office Depot for $2.99 each. You can also download some cute writing paper with picture space for FREE from my TPT Shop. It's best to start a story with a plan. This story sequence paper is perfect for organizing the beginning, middle, and end of a story for little ones.
